Not to be a dick.... (audrey kitching content)

Fri May 16, 2008, 2:29 AM
Please please please!!!!! Before you comment on my photos with the model Audrey Kitching stop.... think to yourself, am I commenting on the photo or the model?? I'm getting increasingly annoyed with the amount of drama brought to my page by 13 year olds with opinions on Audrey. I don't care what you think of her hair, her modeling, her social life. I suggest you email her: [link]

I am the PHOTOGRAPHER!!!! Talk about lighting, composition... anything but pointless opinions about my model that have nothing to do with the images.

To set the facts straight: Audrey is a fucking awesome person, a terrific model and an incredibly hard worker. Shes earned any popularity that she's recieved. She is a great individual with a wonderful down to earth personality. That being said I don't want to talk about it again.

I'm sorry for ranting and those who have followed my work for a long time know that I'm never angry or annoyed by anything but this is getting out of control.

Thanks friends and I really hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy all of yours!

Won't happen.
Seriously.

This is what deviantart does best.

For serious photo critique, go to places like photosight, onexposure, fredmiranda etc.

Dont mess with me, I know kung-fu, karate and 47 other dangerous words.
I am sorry to hear that you are having these issues. I don't have as many watcher as you but I still have my share of this issue. In the past I just saw it as the nature of the beast (DA). Now I feel that it is becoming a problem, when I go to that users for the favs and find that they are under age.
While I agree that what people should focus on most os the quality of the shot, and those things you have the most control over...what your model looks like, of course, also makes or breaks the shot. Now, comments like, "I hate her, she sucks!" are idiotic and yes, they don't belong here, but comments about her hair not looking very good, poses that are not flattering, things to that nature...they're as much a part of the art as anything else is, and should also be taken into consideration.

For what it's worth, I've looked over your work and think you are a wonderful photographer, though.

Ama sorry to see the negitive energy expelled on your work. Shame, its so much more rewarding to see the magic in your work then to pick away at any "observed" flaws.

I love your work and your style of vivid bright sexy/fun art. Well done.

Thank you for sharing your work.

Zen Akita //:meditate:\\ I miss my film camera but I love the digital world.
Can you say Instant Gratification!! Got Digital?

I love capturing moments of time from my minds eye, forever yours in ~Photography. :firelite-photo:
Thanks darlin! I really don't mind if people have a critique or such but it's when they just comment or pick apart something because of the person in it that gets to me. People are incredibly lame. Thank you for commenting and keep up the great work! xoxoxoxo
I definetly see where you're coming from. The truth is that it's the same with a lot of drawings and paintings too. I've noticed that my drawings of certain popular muscians get a lot more views than my other drawings.

what's really annoying for me is getting faved by people who's faves consist of any semi-titilating shot of a woman, usually with no regard to the techniques we use as photographers.

I do admire your work and appreciate it both as a viewr and fellow photographer. I'm not much of a comment whore. I will try to have more imput though. I know how hard it is to get a helpful feedback on DA
ha ha yeah.. I hate it when lots of sketchy people add half naked photos of girls just for the fact they're naked. No worries about commenting ha ha. It's the people who just comment ABOUT someone rather than about the picture ya know?
